HMG shifted Versus’ Tour de France ratings into high gear with this winning promotion. In exchange for running a schedule of cross-channel television spots, Versus’ local affiliates were given a turn-key promotion that enabled them to increase ad sales or marketing revenue with a full complement of promotion tools including tune-in and promo TV spots, print, radio, press materials, unique POS and a consumer sweepstakes with a grand prize package to next year’s race that included a ride in a team car and a VIP team meet and greet.
